Going back....

So I was going through my blog trying to remember what I had and had not posted about and what I needed to post and found that in April I did not post about my coworkers shower or my nieces birthday. SO... Guess what this post is going to be about... :)  I will only be posting a few pictures of the shower and a few of K's Birthday because I have WAY more then anyone would like to see.

So here we go: The shower. :D
 
The shower was held at our local library in the meeting room. The food and drink tables.

 

This is the cake table. Because this was her second marriage her and her fiancé decided to do a small wedding with just them and the preacher. So I made her a "wedding" cake for the shower, and sent the top home with her for their first anniversary.

 As you can see we had SO much fun teasing her. :) One of the ladies even gave her a paddle. :D

 
 She also got some really nice gifts like this rug.

Now for the Birthday. In April we had a Birthday party for my eldest nieces 4th Birthday. She got a TON of gifts and got to pick how she wanted her cake decorated.

2 of her best friends in GA decorating for her. :) The B twins. :D

 

After K got there she opened a few gifts. One was from Abuela, her great grandmother. 

 Another was from me. I got the same thing for K. and E. :) Maria is showing E. what it is. :D

 

 After that we went outside and played ballerina till supper was ready.

 

 Then she opened more gifts.

 

 and more gifts....

 

 and more gifts.... This gift was from Grandma and Abu... It was a swimming pool that would be set up a couple of weeks later.

After opening ALL the gifts she saw her cake and we sang Happy Birthday. :)

Present time update. :)

Right now I am going to be going back and forth in my blog posts with pictures from earlier this year and present time. The reason being that I am having a hard time getting all the photos of the past put together like I want because they are on 2 different cameras and I am having to do these post from work where camera #2 is not with me. :) I am working on a post from my eldest nieces B'day, but I still need the cake pictures. :) So... I thought while waiting I would do a post of somethings I did recently... as in the past 2 weeks. :)

Thing #1 last Thursday I went from a purple room, to a "cream" one.

Thing #3 Maria and I went to Newnan to visit our friends Sarah and Emma. Sarah was recovering from being "ill" so Maria and I went to cheer her up. We had a great time with Sarah and Emma and there Family especially Elijah and Tammy aka Mrs. P. :D

Thing #4 Maria and I went to Kaylin's house yesterday to swim talk and eat dinner. It was a ton of fun, sadly because we were all in the pool I did not get any pictures. :(

BUT on our way home from K's Maria and I stopped to take pictures of the beautiful sunset.

So last month I had a Birthday... I was going to post some pictures of it then, But I kind of got sidetracked so here are the pictures that I have.
I had to work on my birthday from 9 to 6, after work I got home to a great dinner and some great gifts after.

 Opening gifts. My nieces were VERY helpful. Emily was SO helpful that she started opening gifts before dinner. :D

Maria surprised me with this GREAT cake. :) Guess who my favorite super hero is?

   Not sure what we were doing here but it was an awesome picture. :D

Sunday ramble :)

I am going to do a little bit of rambling today because this is my blog and I am feeling like rambling today. :)

A random picture from my camera of a barn near my home. Don't you love spring in the country? This was taken when on a rambling stroll with friends. :D

 

Why? Why was I placed here in this world, this is often a thought that goes through my head as I live my "ordinary" life. The only good answer I have come up with so far is not one that is easy to face, at least not for some people. I am here to serve the Lord with all that I am, to the very best of my ability.  I'm not here to make money, to party, or find pleasure for my self in any way. But at the same time I must remember... The Lord finds pleasure in what makes His children happy as long as they are not sinning. So... What is the point of my life, how can I best serve the Lord? I think the answer for right now is through serving my family. Wow! I'm in trouble... I am terrible at that. I like to serve when I want to, but it is not something I do without even thinking. It is not natural, it is for me VERY hard work. Why is it so hard? Because I am a sinner and even though I am saved through God's Son's great  sacrifice on the cross, I still have the ability to do wrong things, to make mistakes and even, at times, turn away from my Christian walk with the Lord. But even though I might turn away for a time, I am still one of God's children, and no matter what I do I can NEVER not be one. It is for me a GREAT comfort to know this. I am ALWAYS a child of God for He said that "NO MAN" can take me out of God's hand and that would include me, John 10:29. There is NOTHING I can do now that I have made the choice to follow Christ that would take me out of God;' family. I was not selected or chosen by some random chance or design, But I have decided that I will be one of God's children and am trusting in the mercy of His Son to save me. So, because I am one of God's children, I must remember why I am here in this world. I am here to do my VERY best to serve Christ in all I say and do. 
Well, that concludes my Sunday ramble. :) And it was indeed that, a ramble into my Sunday thoughts. :)

The answer is....

So, I watched a movie a couple of weeks ago with my nieces where a man's wife is murdered by a serial killer, and his son is left physically disabled. Then in a twist of events, the son is kidnapped, and the father has to chase the kidnappers thousands of miles with the help of a mentally disabled woman.

Can anyone name that movie?................................................................................ Not counting you Maria, Mateo or Samuel. :D

I wateched a movie

So, I watched a movie a couple of weeks ago with my nieces where a man's wife is murdered by a serial killer, and his son is left physically disabled. Then in a twist of events, the son is kidnapped, and the father has to chase the kidnappers with the help of a mentally disabled woman.

WOW!!! Time has flown by...

They say time flies when your having fun. Well for me it is very true. I have been having fun with all I have been up to and have just not had time to post about nothing. :D So last night I sat down and put some pictures together to show all my friends. :) Hope you enjoy them. :)

  Our bathroom floor was rotting out from under us. The blue tape marked the spot not to walk on if you went in there. So, starting in the beginning of Feb. my brothers started to take out EVERYTHING. They took it down to the stubs and even the subfloor was gone for a couple of weeks. It now has a sub floor and we are hoping it will be finished before the end of the summer.

On February the 8th I drove a van full of girls and dresses down to FL to visit our friend Elizabeth and go to her schools formal event. It was a TUN of fun dressing up and doing eachothers hair. :)

 The next day I drove us all to the beach. It was SO much fun taking pictures and hanging out together. :)

 

There were 3 sets of sisters. So each set got there picture with Elizabeth, and then one of us all together. :)

 

In the beginning of March Mateo asked his girl  Elizabeth Rose to marry him. My guess is that she said yes. :) LOL

 

 

A cold day watching a movie. Did you know that 4 people can fit under one blanket?

 

 One of the other highlights of March I already told you about.... Baby S. being born. :)  

Then the Saturday after S. was born Jenna got married. :)

 

The decorations were STUNNING. the wedding cake was White chocolate cheese cake which was the BEST, and the cupcakes were cute. :) (Maria and I did the blue ones. :D)

Lets PLAY!!!!! Maria, Samuel and a few others played Ultimate Frisbee in the mud. Made for some fun photos. :) The one of Alex on the top left he is trying to get people to admire his mode of dress.  

 

 

 

Easter Sunday.

Today was a good one....

Today March 20th, 2013, the first day of spring, my mothers 56th birthday, AND the day we got the call saying that another granddaughter was on the way. That is right, today at about 12 a new life entered this world her name is S.... and she is 7 pounds and 15 oz.

WHY???

SO, it has been a while since I have posted on either of my blogs and I am feeling bad about it. You may, or may not, ask what is going on in my life and I would have to say nothing much. :) Just work, school, helping with showers, going to showers, taking a 3 day vacation with friends, playing around on Pintrest, trying to decorated my room, teaching Sunday School..... Oh my maybe I am busier then I thought. :D
Well I am going to start working on a picture blog post and will put it up soon. :)
