Challenge ALERT!!!!! The grossest thing you can think of….

OK Here is the challenge: think of the grossest thing you can come up with and multiply it by 10.
OK, maybe not quite that much but close.
This is the tale of what happened at 10:00 pm on 12-12-12.
My little sister and I had just finished watching Dick Van Dyke on TV. Mateo comes in and asks for help to "shock" our well. This means to pour a gallon of bleach down it. The reason is because it smelled funny.
So like the WONDERFUL sister that I am, I went out and held the light for him. As he was getting ready to pour the bleach into the water we looked down and to our GREAT surprise and DISGUST we saw a dead animal floating on top of the water. So, the long and short of it is we knew we had to get it out some how and went and got Papa up from bed. Next, a trip to the store to get rope, more bleach, a bucket and a net. Papa, Mateo and I proceeded to retrieve the dead animal which at that point we had identified as a rabbit. At about 12:30 am we got it out, put the well back together and added more bleach to the water. Now, we are not going to be drinking or cooking with that water for SOME time. :)
So did I gross you out yet???
Well, if I have I will do so even more.
I have pictures. :) Knowing the title of this blog you should not be surprised at that. :)

Here it is Mateo and the rabbit:
Yuck it is gross....
Yay, we got it out!!!!

How Cute of Me. LOL

My Tia/Aunt sent me an email with a story about me and this little bear ornament. :) It was so cute I thought I would share it with you my friends. :) Thank you Tia Molly Sue. :)

"This Teddy bear ornament I bought in gulf shores when you were two or three. You liked it so much you sucked on it until I took it away from you. All that baby slobber didn't hurt it at all. Always think of you when I decorate the tree! Love you, Tia."

I asked her to please share any other storys she may have and she sent me this one.

"Here's another story...When you came to Hot Springs for Thanksgiving and you stayed at my house - you were still very young... two or three? your Mom might remember better.... anyway, there was a moth in my house and you were fascinated by it... it followed you or you followed it from room to room... and you'd see it on the wall or the ceiling and you would always point it out with delight.... I called it Lidia's moth... I told your parents they needed to get you a pet... that you shouldn't be getting attached to a moth...and it was clear you wanted a pet!... I still call all moths in the house Lidia's moth. Just evicted one this past week.
Love You, Tia!"

What to do.....????

Well Christmas is around the corner and I have not bought even one gift yet. So now I have to go and make a list and decided what to get everyone. The boys are going to be hard this year. I have an idea of what to get Samuel, but Mateo is going to be harder. And Mama and Papa are nearly an impossible task to buy for. :) AND we are adding 4 others to the family mix. The Williamson family will be here. YAY!!!!! So, I was wondering what my family would think if I got them all gift cards. It is not a special as getting a thing, but it would still be nice and useful. :) I will have to look into it. :) Well got to go. I am writing this on my free time at work. :D
Have a great day!!!!

A STRANGE WAY TO SAVE THE WORLD

One of my favorite Christmas songs was played on the radio yesterday. I thought I would share it with you all. :)

A STRANGE WAY TO SAVE THE WORLD LYRICS

I'm sure he must have been surprised
At where this road had taken him

'Cous never in a million lives
Would he have dreamed of Bethlehem

And standing at the manger, he saw with his own eyes
The message from the angle come to life
and Joseph said

"Why me?"
"I'm just a simple man of trade
Why him with all the rulers in the world?"
"Why here?"
"Inside this stable filled with hay
Why her, she's just an ordinary girl"

Now Im not one to second guess what angles have to say
But this is such a strange way to save the world

To think of how it could've been
If Jesus had come as he deserved

There would have been no Bethlaham
No lowly sheperds at His birth

But Joseph knew the reason, love hat to reach so far
and as he held the Savior in is arms
He must have thought

"Why me?"
"I'm just a simple man of trade
Why him with all the rulers in the world?"
"Why here?"
"Inside this stable filled with hay
Why her, she's just an ordinary girl"
Now Im not one to second guess what angles have to say
But this is such a strange way to save the world

Now Im not one to second guess what angles have to say
But this is such a strange way to save the world

This is such a strage way
Such a strange way
Such a strange way to save the world

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!

Thanksgiving is fast approaching and I have a few things I would like to list a few things that I am thankful for.

I am thankful for:
  • My salvation.
  • My father, for all the hard work he does to provide for us, for protecting me from a dark and evil world, for loving me and forgiving me when I have done wrong, and MUCH more.
  • My mother, for putting up with me, helping me with school, cooking for me, cleaning the house, and SO much more.
  • My “baby” sister, for being a great example of what a beautiful Christian young lady should strive to be, for being a good listener, for loving and putting up with me despite my downfalls.
  • My brothers, for being my strong protectors when I may need it, and for just being.
  • My “older” sister and her husband, for being an example to me.
  • My Abuela, for loving me.
  • My home, job, friends, coworkers, health, and SO much more.

I hope and pray that all you my friends have a VERY blessed Thanksgiving.

Lost and found

After 2 weeks of looking for my favorite earings that I had lost, I found them!!! But the sad thing is that though one is OK the other is TOTALY broken. Maybe I can take/send it somewhere to get it fixed. :sigh: If anyone knows of a good place I would be willing to look into it.

VOTING

A friend sent this to my mother. :) It was SO good that I just HAD to share it with you. :)

"I don't want to impose, but I'm just asking you to share this one with a few of your friends.

It is a couple of weeks until election day when the people will decide who will be the next President of the United States . The person elected will be the president of all
Americans, not just the Democrats or the Republicans. It's time that we all need to come together, Democrats and Republicans alike, in a bi-partisan effort for America :

If you support Mitt Romney drive with your headlights ON during the day.
If you support Barack Obama, please drive with your headlights OFF at night.
Together we can make it happen.
Thank you!!!!"

Hope that you all have a great day!!!!
